Default having soft clutch problem

The other day I was coming back from a decent trip down the highway, I went to downshift to 4th and it felt like something snapped during the range of motion on the clutch pedal. ever since then it has been a very soft push and doesn't want to come back with the same force as it always has.

Needless to say this making it quite difficult to drive, anybody have a clue what this could be before I bring it to the dealer? thanks guys!

sounds like a spring might have popped loose

2 spark plugs per cylinder does add horsepower but 6 extra chp is negligible at best

the spring has most likely snapped, same problem with my car and a friends car both 07 zx4's within a day of eachother. just make sure you tell them to check the spring or they will tell you it is undeterminable whether the clutch is soft or not. design flaw in my eyes, to light of a spring
