Just curious to see how many miles you have gotten out of your original clutch. My beater zx3 is at 101,700 miles on the original clutch with mostly city driving and the occasional 250 mile highway roadtrip. I'm afraid to brag about it, because I'll probably jinx myself, but it still grabs like new!

I had 109k on my open track'd and heavily autocrossed stock clutch.... still looked great.
The only reason I replaced it is because I upgraded to a Torsen, 4.06 gears and an aluminum flywheel. The visual inspection showed plenty of clutch left. I'm happy with my Luk Pro-Gold thus far... though having an 8.5lb flywheel is a little weird, because it makes the car "feel" less powerful.

I have 115k on mine, and it still grabs well. Unfortunately it will be replaced here within the month, for a set up that will handle a turbo.

I've got about 124K on my clutch. The last 8k or 10k (or maybe more) or so are with the PWSC on it. Lots of autocrossing. With a little bit of luck I'll FINALLY have my other transaxle ready to swap in (along with a Quaife ATB Diff and Exedy Hyper Single clutch).

112k on my stocker, drives fine. Looking for a custom solid hub kevlar dual friction 3 puck when this one goes.

I wish!!! I just rolled 62K and it slips in high gears when it warms up. I does leak a bit so that can't help..

I got 130K on mine and she really doesn't like the heat. When temps are high, she falls on her face at 5 grand. But I have driven the car like I stole it since i've owned it.

I had 150k or more on mine. I just changed it yesterday because I didnt want it to up and quit and leave me in the lurch. Looking at the disc, I probablly could have made it through the rest of the year.

is there a way to measure how much material is left on the clutch? I'm at 90k and thinking it might be a good preventative maintenance job....

I had 85K on mine when I did the tranny swap and still had probably 1/2 the life left on it.
Swapped it anyway so I would not have to pull the tranny again later.

135K and climbing. Hasn't started to slip yet and I don't plan on changing it until it does.

44k and I don't trust it.. Seems like engagement pedal height is getting higher and higher every day.
Currently researching replacement. Probably will do it at tax refund time. |

I had 141K on mine when I replaced it this past weekend. The new clutch doesn't look any better than the old one - go figure.
The only reason I replaced it was because I had the transmission out and figured I may as well. Now I get to replace the transmission ![]() |

Stock lasted about 60k, before one of the springs on it decided to divorce the clutch plate. That was with very rare strip use, and normal driving.

92,800 of DD, autocross, and track duty. I do love my onramps. I tend to be easy on the clutch most of the time, but I've gotten carried away a time or three
Hopefully I can get 150k as well.

Well it depends on how long it takes you to miss a shift and go from 2nd at 7k into 1st instead of 3rd*
![]() Oh wait you mean if you aren't stupid, then 100k doesn't seem unreasonable! *In no way does this statement reflect any such event that did not happen 5 years ago at 7000 miles.

Ha ha! I watched this happen in a talon a few years back here in MN. It took out huge chunks out of the trans, engine, radiator. It was bad, shot out like it was in a cannon. |

70K on mine still going strong. Just stated teaching the Fiance how to drive stick, hasn't killed it yet.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that one. 3 or 4 people learned how to drive stick on my stock clutch.
