Default Stage 3 Clutch Cause Master Cylinder to Go Bad?

I have an Exedy Stage 3 Hypersingle Clutch/flywheel and as everyone knows, its pretty stiff. well i was driving the other day and as i was slowing down at a sloplight, i pushed the clutch pedal in and it went straight to the floor. i felt some fluid down there and had to drive a mile or 2 to the ford dealership with no clutch and they said that it was the clutch master cylinder. i just got it back and its working fine now, but i was wondering, woudl the extra stiffness of the hypersingle cause the clutch master cylinder to go bad?

I just snapped mine AGAIN today! Someone REALLY needs to come up with a metal replacement. I REFUSE to replace this with another OEM POS master cylinder!!!!!!!!

I will be ordering a Wilwood one tomorrow and see how best I can get it to work. If you copy the link in your web browser the pictures will still come up.
