This is gonna sound really stupid but...The stock knob just screws off, correct? I have replaced the shift knob before with no problem, but I am getting ready to sell the car and am replacing the stock SVT knob with a new stock SVT knob, and I cannot get it off! That does not sound good but I need help getting my knob off!!!

Lift up the shift boot and you'll see the flats on the bottom of the shift knob, Use a wrench on it.
Some SVT knobs unscrew pretty easily but I've seen them be really difficult as well.

Yep, thats what I did. Started turning easy then got frikken impossible. I ended up just leaving it where it is for now. The bottom of the knob actually broke. Like is said, I've done it before, it was easy. I have no idea whats going on with my knob!
