Default This just arrived at my door. Now I need pointers.

I got a short throw and now I am trying to figure out how to install it. Anyone ever install one on an 05-07? Anyone able to point me in the right direction? I'm sure I can figure it out, but I'd rather have some direction before just jumping in.

Not real hard at all and should be able to do it W/O removing the center counsel.

Remove the shift knob, righty tighty / lefty loosy.
Remove the shift boot, push the back of the boot forward gently and lift up, there are 2 catch pins at the back and 1 at the front, should slide off.
You'll see 4 Torx screws holding the shifter in the shifter base, remove them.
Disconnect the shifter cables by prying on them, they just pop off/on.

Not sure what the blue things are for.
The spring goes under the shift knob and slips into the revers lockout slide. You'll see what I mean when you remove the stock shift knob.

It's all pretty straight forward and really easy to do. Just look at how the factory works and you should understand how to put the new one in.

not sure on the 05-07 but my 01' has a special locking wahser/clip deal that took an hour at the dealer ship trying to figure out what part # it was along with 15 bucks for a plastic pice. its what hold the through bolt tight aginst the tower... if that makes sence. Just be carefull with any pices you take off that you dont brake any of the "delecate" plastice pices.

Ya, I took a second look at it tonight at work and it looks pretty dang easy. Just making sure their wasn't any little thing I wouldn't have expected. The reverse lockout is not on my car now, this won't make it on again will it?

I am not 100% sure, but be careful that shifter looks like a 00-02 style not the 02.5 & newer style ...

That is a 02.5+ style. The 00-02 has the selector cable attachment on the bottom, and this one is on the top.

Trust me, I have four sets of shift cables and five different shifters in my garage.

If this is for the 02.5 and under. I dont think is going to work on your car.
