Default Getrag shift linkage

Hello, I am fairly new to the Focus community and have a 2003 SVT. I have noticed that there seems to be considerable slop in the shifter. Is there a simple way to get rid of this. I assume it is probably fairly common.

Default Re: Getrag shift linkage

well all you need to do is adjust your shift linkage
you need to unlock the linkage by pushing the orange tabs
if you slide it all the way one way you will get 1st-6th without reverse
if you slide it all the way the other way you will get reverse 1st-4th without 5th or 6th
barely moving the cable either way really changes how it shifts
