Took advantage of the mile weather to give The Stig a thorough wash and wax. I'd usually clay bar, but since this is technically my dad's car (he junked MY Focus out from under me a couple years ago, it was the right thing to do but didn't consult me beforehand, and he forbade me to use the clay bar on any of his cars- FWIW he washes with dish soap, uses Soft Scrub with bleach and a Scotchbrite pad to get the mulberry stains out of the paint) I'm living where they don't use salt in the winter it's probably not that necessary. I know the bird crap and sap don't change, if anything they're probably worse over here.

But at least I won't have to worry about it until spring. By then I'll have bought another clay bar set and will use it before he comes back.
