I covered this back around July / August time frame. I did a tune up and brakes.
1) K&N Drop in filter 2) Motorcraft wires 3) Split Fire plugs (got them at autozone in Ohio for $0.25 each) 4) Changed to full synthetic oil with good oil filter + 2 mpg.

what is the right gap for those plugs??????i am a newb(hehe)
o and any specific oil and filter????

Ummmmm..........035 for the gap IIRC..might be .045 tho...get that checked. I used Castrol Syntec 5-20 oil and Fram tough gard filters.
After I changed from Conventional to full synthetic I could definitely notice that the engine wasnt working nearly as hard.
