Default May have found a lightweight flywheel option for us SPI'ers...

I have no idea if they just threw the "lx" model in there for ****s and giggles or if they do indeed make a 12.5lb flywheel for us SPI guys. I just ordered an Exedy clutch for my car, and stumbled on this...

Manufacture is Exedy: Here's their page on it:
http://www.exedyusa.com/race/ZF502

Here's a vendor for it:
http://jdmultimate.com/Store/Product...4626&Make=FORD

The price isn't too terrible either, certianly beats 1000+ for a one off if its legit.
Anyone already seen this? I'm emailing Exedy to see if by lx they mean our happy 8v Single Slammer, if so good times =D

Those are all for Duratec based cars.

No SPI flywheel in there. Not like anyone makes enough power to justify it anyways...lolz.

I have a clutchnet.com clutch and pressure plate and I'm very pleased with it, awsome clutch for the money.

But I dont think any lightweight flywheel is worth $400+.

Well given that on edmunds it shows the LX as the SPI engine I figured it was atleast worth an email to Exedy hehe. I guess not, damn I should have waited a year and got a duratexLX that would have been nice lol. Exedy confirmed it as well they are duratec flywheels on the link I posted. However it is cool that there is another option for us that someone else posted. Price is definitely steep though.
