Default Brake kit

What kind of offset is needed for your brembo brake kit, will they fit behind the SVT wheels?

I have a confirmation that they will indeed work just fine with the SVT wheels. We have a set of brembos on our ZX3 and I love them. Maybe someday I will treat myself on my car.

Are those 4-piston calipers? Also, what size are the discs that come with it. I am beginning to convince myself I need to get them soon

Yes, they are four piston calipters. The rotors are 305 mm X 28 mm. (12 in x 1.1 in)

If you get these make sure to buy some tissue for your passengers, because you are going to have a lot of people with nose bleeds when you lay on those brakes.

Yes they are. The 05-06 red pads are hard to get though. We have them for earlier models in stock.

You say that this kit will fit under the svt rims, what style svt rims are you refering to or will they fit any year svt rim. I also note that this kits wheel fitment guide requires a 40mm hub face to spoke clearance. The 2002 svt 5 star rim does not have that clearance, are they being overly conservative with their fitment guide.

Also your kit comes with one piece rotors, what are the replacement costs for the rotors and pads for this kit, and how and where can you get them from? I just want to make sure that these wear related parts are readily available and not to expensive to get?

thanks

Thanks Larry. I'll place an order in a few days. I like to keep an extra set of pads around as I get 5-7 track days on a set of pads.

do they fit behind 02 SVT 5 spokes? Are the rotors prone to breaking?

We have not heard of any issues with the rotors breaking. As far as cost of pads they run about $89-$99. Rotor replacements are $289. We have not had the chance to test fit these on all SVT's, so I can't personally give you a solid answer on that.

Rotor replacement is 289 each? or 289 for the pair?

Do you you know if there test fitment guide for this kit is acurate?? 40mm is a lot of offset to clear the spokes. TCE kit is only 19.69 for NDL calipers and 26.04 for FSL calipers. http://www.tceperformanceproducts.com/wheel_fit.html and TCE NDL kit I think clears the SVT focus wheels barely though.

What wheels do you know of that clear this kit with out any wheel Spacers?
