A beefy-spoked inset 5 or 6 spoke wheel... in a variety of colors.

Euro "mp3" alloy, hands down the cleanest looking rim for our cars.

I like wide open spoke wheels as a start.

Style/color is secondary for me. Weight and offset for the money are paramount.
After shopping/scouring the internet for FOUR MONTHS..this is it \/ \/ \/ OZ Ultraleggera 15x7 4x108 bolt pattern 42mm offset Satin Silver 11.6 lbs each $169 per wheel Coming to a garage near me soon via a boat from Italy: ![]()

My favorite wheels are making this awful flapping noise. So I am going to relpace them with Sport editions F2's.

Got them yesterday. WOOWHOO! Yeah, I have been autocrossing on 17" wheels for too long. They are too heavy (21 lbs each w/o tire mounted) and force me to use a tire with only a 40 series sidewall (too narrow, IMHO). I am going to a 205/50r15 for a while. Much cheaper tires are available in that size, too.

Centerlines are nigh-perfect, in my book. Forged, light, strong, and also *very* reasonably priced. Favorite is the 'Excel,' which no longer seems to be avail in anything smaller than a 19"
![]() Basically, my ideal wheel would be this, but in a 15x7 or 15x7.5 - so long as it fits over SVT brakes (most important). Failing that, a 17x7 or 17x7.5. 16" doesn't seem to offer a ton of useful choices in track rubber, so it's less useful. Forged, forged, forged, and affordable. Basically, Centerline. |

By far, OZ Superleggeras, 17x7. I also like the FRPP 15 spoke Euros but the OZ are lighter and - oh ya - already on my car!
