Do you have any good pics of the raised Steeda hood with the vents other than the ones on your website?

The vents arent functional. They are closed off. You can always open them up, but just thought you should know.

I can take pictures tomorrow for you. It will be white, the way they come to you before it is painted.

Is it recommended to use hood pins with this hood for safety? Also, do you have any more pics of the grey car on your website with this hood?

Are carbon hood is an OEM style hood, which means the design replicates a stock hood, only in carbon fiber.
The under sub-structure is fiber glass and copys an OEM hood under side just like the outer surface does.

Would you like underside shots of the carbon hood, or the fiberglass raised design?
I'll get you some this week.

Here is an underhood shot of the hood. This is exactly how it looks when you receive it.

I would have to advise to look elsewhere if you are interested in a CF hood. I bought mine directly through Steeda in FL and it has only been on 4 months and the clear coat is chipping on one of the back corners. There are also a few other things I am not impressed with aswell. I have purchased other parts from Steeda in the past and was very happy with them, but their CF hood is not a genuine Steeda produced piece and therefore does not live up to the quality standard they have for their own parts.

Does it have the "Fiber Images" logo raised in the clear coat up near the windshield?

I also have to say we have this hood on one of our vehicles here and it has not issues with cracks or damage. I would investigate the quality of your paint shop.

Did you have the hood clear coated before you started expsoing it to extreme SoFla sun?
It is recomended that all carbon fiber products receive a solid layer of clear coat before serious sun expsosure. Most carbon fiber products just come with a thin clear gel coat and shouldn't be used at all before clear coated. The Fiber Images product line is one of the best out there, (feel free to ask around). I'm surprised you had any problems. I'm pretty sure the FI brand hoods do come clear coated, but I'd still recomend, once again, to apply another thick coat before sun exposure.
