I'd love to have this kind of kit for my 2000 focus, and i can't really just do an engine upgrade, i'd rather get the 2.3l duratec w/ some cosworth stuff. (Especially since my car has 150,000+ miles on it, without ever breaking down too!)

What is the difference between the Mazda3 and Focus subframe? Could you take a Mazda3 drivetrain and easily bolt it into a Focus subframe? What about CV-shafts?

I can't comment on the 1st half but knowing what is involved in the wiring issues alone to swap a duratec into a non-duratec it ain't gonna happen.

Lets see 7 month old thread, what looks like lots interest and no progress = original idea was the pipe dream that FJ user Benny has already proven

Ford fault for making it nigh impossible, Steeda's for asking who wants something we can't make.

Good luck with the idea though, I really hope you can prove me wrong.
