Heat sheild for CAI - Focaljet

Anyone know if steeda makes a heat sheild for their CAI?

I take it you are referring to the Zetec kit? If so the answer is no. If you are referring to the Duratec kit, the kit includes one.

What sort of material would you fabricate one out of?

The tube on the kit is made of a high quality aluminum that helps to reduce heat soak and give you a cooler air intake.

I just checked our computers inventory and we have one 'scratch and dent' silver polished CAI kit available for $99.95. The part number is 558-555-3102. I've seen these kits and if you were not told they were scratch and dent you would not be able to tell. The scratches are so small they had to be pointed out to me. They just didn't make it past the tough inspection our manufacturing department has for retail products.
