Hi, I'm considering the Steeda Short Ram for my 2.0 Duratec, and I have a few questions for you guys:
How does the intake perform when installed on automatic transmission equipped cars? Is there anything I should know about using the intake in extreme cold conditions such as -30 deg C (that would be -22 F)? My Focus is a daily driver and Edmonton can get really cold in the winter. How often should the filter be replaced? And what filters are compatible? I'd like to be able to buy replacements locally rather than repeatedly getting the $89 filter shipped from steeda.ca Thanks.

With our intake you should see gains of 6-8 horsepower.
Also I would recommend purchasing the cleaning kit (P/N 281 6005 01) to keep the filter cleaned and last longer. Also I don't see an issue w/the extreme cold weather using our intake. Thank you in advance
