Default Steeda Short ram

Hey guys, I just installed my SRI in my '08 ford focus. I love it, it is amazing, sounds good, I can tell the difference in gas mileage, and in performance. I just had a few questions.

1) When I go to replace it, what size is the filter that goes on the MAF tube?

2) I have smelled an odor come from the engine bay, I think it is the rubber heating up that is wrapped around the heat shield. Am I correct? I can't think of anything else that it would be. It is getting less and less everytime I drive it.

Thank You for any response.

The part number for the replacement filter is 281-0001 $44.95

As per the odor, I haven't had anyone complain about an odor coming from the intake.

Keep me posted on that.

I have an '02 SRI. Is that the same part number for my filter? Me thinks its time for a new one.

Thanks!

Yeah the odor went away, i think it was from rubber heating up, my boss use to own a performance shop, he said it could happen occasionally.
