on that special deal for $500, can we get custom valving, and if not, do we at least have somewhat of a choice on different setups from koni, cause i will need different valving for my groundcontrols with 450lb spring rate, might change to 300lb rates, cause its just too hard

and should i get softer springs rates, like 350in front and 300in back vs my 450lb all around? Seems kinda hard, all the peeps on clubsi are runing about 300-350 in front and 250-300 in rear. Mine i think are too hard and have too much rebound that i dont think that even the konis can handle

Nazthug, who is feeding you this info about the Koni's not handling it? I really think it's just not true!
You cannot get the Koni's custom valved for that price. You can definitely get them custom valved, but you have to send them off. When I order my GC, I'm probably going to try and order them with 350 or 400 springs. Don't forget: on the back of the suspension, the spring sits halfway in on the arm. This means that the control arm is acting on it like a lever. The spring may be 450lb/in, but it will behave like a spring with half that rate at the wheel. |

Guys, I have seen quite a few questions about the KONI shocks lately. I am choosing not to answer them, because I am not that knowledgeable about suspension. I think P-51 and Chris are doing a much better job than I would ever do. So, rest assured that I am reading everything and not ignoring you people, but the answers provided are much, much better than mine would be. I just read and learn
