You shouldn't need the camber kit with the Progress springs. Did yo et it aligned after the drop? I have had them on for several months with no unusual wear.

Focusparts.com has them for $69 for the rear. You shouldn't need that though, until your car is dropped at least 2 inches.

On the old Club Focus site was a thread about replacing a 14mm bolt with a 12mm bolt. It was a factory thing. Maybe CTB or P51 can shed some more light on this. You might go over to www.club-focus.net and see if the *old* info is still there.

I think Ground Control has them. You'd probably have to call them since they're not on their website.

A good suspension shop should be able to get your tires even with an alignment.

I don't think you really need camber plates.

I DO ALIGNMENTS EVERY DAY(I AM AN FRONT END AND SUSPENTION TECH.)

CAMBER IS NOT ADJUSTALBE IN ANY WAY FROM THE FACTORY ON A FOCUS. FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE LOW DROPS THEY WILL HAVE EXCESS NEG. CAMBER. NO MATTER HOW THE TOE IS SET, NEG. CAMBER WILL EAT UP TIRES.

IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR TIRE TO WEAR, SOMECARS MUST HAVE SOME TYPE OF CAMBER ADUSTMENT

OR IF YOU UNDERSTAND THE ADVANTAGE OF A FULLY ADUSTABLE SUSPENTION.

CAMBER KITS ARE NEVER A BAD IDEA

I got my suspension done at H&W Motor Sport in Garden Grove CAli. They told me that they could adjust the camber on the Focus.

I guess they made a mistake in telling me this.

got a crapload of stuff to do.

Many people at the jet have had the progress and the Eibachs installed and aligned on their rides without any problems with uneven tire tread ware.

Maby a suspension shop knows how to manually adjust the position of the wheel so that it is even. The gus at H&W are some of the best in my area.

For any of the locals go down there and check out their shop some time. They do all types of cars. Every time I go there I see a BMW or a Porsche. I have seen a couple of Ferraris down there too.

Why the sudden need for Camber kits? Maby with low low drops but I havn't heard many people complain about their Progress or Eibach springs and like I said before the instruction guidlines for the Eibach Prokit do not require any type camber adjustment. The Progress are just a hair lower.

Devon has not had any problems.

my understanding is no camber plate is necessary unless you drop 2+ inches. any opinions?

Yoiu don't know what you're talking about!!
the camber adj. is so easy you must have missed it all together!!,
the bolt an the lower arems are cams not bolts ,, two wrenched and you can do it yourself with out a shop or a hoist..
same idea up front.. I watched the guy do it today,,
here's the before and after sheet
Todays alignment Intrax springs 1.8 drop (already settled by Shmee) less than an hour@$70 canadian so why not do it??
the canber is easy to adjust / so also easy to screw up the rear on spring install (make sure to mark the camber lowerarm bolt possitions) you should be able to eyeball adjust camber after first returning them to the original possition.
both before and after numbers are shown..
