Is there yet an agreement for what is the optium "dream" suspension upgrade for agressive street use?

I think there's more disagreement.
I'm sure everyone has their reasons but it's not as easy to see what works best. Too bad there aren't dyno charts posted for different shock spring combo's & coilovers. I plan to do alot more research before spending that much. ------------------ infrared 01zx3 esslinger udp Iceman |

I think there are 3 kits which will prove very nice for the street.
The H&R Cup kit (H&R coilover kit is probably too harsh for some tastes). The KW kit. The Eibach kit (whenever it comes out). The Gossow kit. It will be almost impossible to declare a winner, unless you personally try every one. The problem is we have reviews from people who have only tried one kit, and their preferences are likely not the same as yours. So the chances of somebody telling you which you'll like the best is pretty low. 3redzx's: There is something like a dyno. Springs rates. I wish like hell the manufacturers would release the spring rates so people could see *hard evidence* as to how the suspension will be. The Mustang market does this. A person just chooses the spring rate they prefer. |

"I wish like hell the manufacturers would release the spring rates so people could see
*hard evidence* as to how the suspension will be." Also nice would be force-velocity curves for the dampers and the corner weights of the test mule that the manufacturer used for development. We could then make allowances for our own personal prevailing load condition or in my case have more info as a starting point for rates on the wagon. Somebody around here must have access to a coil spring tester. It would be nice to get a database here of all the kit rates. We could calculate from the spring dimensions if somebody wants to get all the numbers together....testing real pieces is nice though. A shock dyno might be a bit harder but they're out there... |

I think it's really all about feel and driving style. I don't know much about suspension, but I know what I like.
