Default KYB struts/shocks

will they ever come out with any for the focus that are adjustable? I hope they will be cheaper. Otherwise i gotta fork out another $500 for the konis. I guess i have to cause my car bounces way too much. Damnit, i was saving up for some wheels, i guess they have to wait. Oh well. still gotta buy a header and cam gears.

From the people I've been talking to, they have recommended the Koni's over pretty much any other shock/strut. The one guys told me that H&R uses Bilestien(sp) shocks in their cup kits, but I'm not sure if that's true.

nazthug do you have the sway bars on yours, when I installed them they cut out about 1/2 the bounce of the front end.

------------------
01 ZX3, Intrax 3 inch drop springs, Koni shocks, Vibrant cat back, FS flex pipe, B&M shifter w/carbon fiber knob, clear corner lites, platinum window tint
Eibach sway bars, Poly bushings, focussport 8mm plug wires

Shmee, at least let us know they are less expensive than Konis, if they aren't then why wait, the konis are the limit on my budget.

Something else always comes out. Maybe you should wait a while till more products are introduced so the price is driven down due to competition. I sure as hell won't fork over the cash that Koni wants.

Since when did Tokico's suck???? I've never spoken to a single person who has them on their car that didn't love them.

Tokikos are good for mild street cars.
They suck for racing.
I know a few people who have blow out thier tokikos on the track.
They're a good combo for the Progress crap people have been buying.

I would neve put them on anmy car of mine as i have no intention of having a mild street car.

I don't know of anyone running specific rate springs on a street car. They absolutely suck for daily driving. Progressives are so popular because of their versatility both on and off the track. They are great on the street, and perform pretty well on the track.

hehe haha..i run 450lb single rate because i have groundcontrols. yeah they are harder but not too bad, if the turn is smooth they handle like go carts, its when the turn is bumpy, the car jumps all over the road, need some konis and sway bars to solve this. soon, soon

Progress anything SUCK!

Progressive spring, on the other hand are something completely differant.
You are right for the most part that specific rate springs aren't the best for a daily driver but i wasn't bashing Progressive rate springs, i was bashing Progress the company.

As for my mystery best buy, you'll just have to wait.

Don't worry, it will be worth the wait.
