Default Intro

Well, I see my bud Rob has given a little intro of me on one of the threads, so I think I'll finish the job here.

Many of you might remember me as the rather wordy but hopefully informative CTB from ClubFocus. I will be most useful for suspension things - springs, dampers, bars, brakes, wheels, tires. While I hate how slow my stock Focus is, I really do not care at all about drag racing. I'm a veteran autocrosser (6 years in CSP with a MkI Toyota MR2), full time hooligan on the streets, 7-year crewman for an ITC Honda Civic (I do all the suspension work), and this year I will be trying my hand at 125cc shifter kart racing. My Focus shares its home with an Acura Integra Type R and a Honda CBR900RR. I like handling, but I also like normally-aspirated high revs.

Feel free to drop me a line anytime, as long as it isn't about car stereo, dropping your car 3", fitting 315/20-19 tires, or stories about beating a Ferrari F355 with your Focus, cuz I know that ain't gonna happen. Seriously, I'm very much a go-not-show person, so I'll be sticking to the fun technical stuff.

Now on to breakfast...

Rob, that's a great sig! I love it. For the record, I've had my car since mid July and I've washed it a grand total of once. Someone else washed it once for me, and that's it. I'm right there with you!

Heh, I wash my car at least 3 times a week.

Unfortunately with my driving it just keeps getting dirty.

Well, I do wash the car semi-regularly. I like it nice and clean, but I'm not anal, and I'm not afraid of getting it dirty!

There was this guy at the garage station where I took that picture, he actually came up to me and asked "Dude, why are taking pictures of your car like that?"
