Default Post your INSTALLED coil over kits!!!

ok, so i tried this once before and everyone posted pictures of their kits still in boxes. I talked to a mod and i would like to build a sticky out of this for all kits available for the focus with pictures of them INSTALLED on the car.

I would appreciate anyone's contributions to this thread.

format would be nice if you could post as follows

1: Brand/Make/Model of the kit
2: pic of front setup installed
3: pic of rear setup installed
4: your opinion on the setup, what are you happy with, what could be better about the kit?
5: any aditional parts needed to accomodate the kit if applicable.

Wow I would think this would be a GREAT thread to have and use for research for those who are looking to buy a set of coilovers. I mean with so many brands and different combinations to setup coilovers it would be nice to have one place (thread) with all the information that you asked for. I hope this thread takes off since I am in the market for some coilovers.

Yea I don't know why people aren't posting pics/info on their setup. I KNOW quite a few guys on here are on coilovers. It would only take a minute to post some pics and answer the above questions on the setup. This would be a GREAT help for those looking into coilovers and would decrease the amount of coilover related posts.

Hybrid setup here. I think I'm a guinea pig out on this coast with this setup, and I'll have some track impressions this weekend. Had to modify the rear setup, since they are designed for Konis, so the spring hat had a too large of an ID for the shock piston.

Front: Gaz adjustible with 330# spring
Rear: Spax adjustible with F2 conversion with a 225# (approx. 400# normally)

Joe, what size/offset are you tires/wheels? I had looked at the F2 conversion a while back but didn't like a few things about it. I don't think I could run my wheels without touching the springs.

OEM 15s with 205s and OEM 16s with 205s.. During my shakedown runs, I experienced no rubbing. I'll have to see how they are after I really get on it.

Yes the Eibach kit is Eibach springs with KW dampers. Btw yes they are stainless ... over two years old and not a speck of rust yet.

Well the V3's over here dont, they have the top adjuster for the rebound and the adjuster on the bottom for the bump.

There is another car that i know of also with KW V3's installed and they also dont have external reservoirs.

Standard H&R coilovers + race springs F/R and FS camber plates
Very good quality, not track worthy, kinda soft with the standard springs, alittle better with the race stiffer springs, not bad over all, if you like a stiff responsive ride, get something with adjustable dampening!

Front Bilistien struts/H&R race springs 514 lbs
Rear Bilistien shocks/H&R race springs 548 lbs

V3's for the focus are actually 2-way adjustable (not external reserviors) not 3-way adjustable like on other cars!!
