It's for progressive rate springs. Meaning that the rates vary depending on how much force is exerted under various driving scenarios. |

For the record the Apex sport springs are:
Front: 150lb/in Rear : 200lb/in drop= 1.5" BTW - can one of the mods update and consolidate all the info into the first post of this thread to make it easier to see info in one glance? ![]() |

Does anyone know the rates for the H&R Cup Kit? I have the kit(not installed yet) and I'm just wondering how the rates differ with these springs versus my currently installed Progress ones. Thanks in advance.

Is there any benefit to that? I have the progressive H&R sport springs that I've had for a few years now. I got them because of how much they lowered the car, but now I'm more interested in handling. Why would someone want progressive over fixed What are the benefits of each?EDIT: Nevermind, I think I found an answer here |

The one plus to linear springs that that site left out is "Predictability". Your spring rate isn't changing as the cornering forces get harder.

Depends. You can get hypercoil custom springs that have rates upward of 1250lb/in. |

Unless that info on the Hypertech springs is wrong, that is a poorly engineered set of springs. The spings HAVE to be tighter on the back then on the front to prevent the car from bucking back and forth when you go over bumps.
