Unless u plan to get adj. dampers.
Useing anything that has a set dampin bounce and rebound. Ie Eibach, Apex, Spax...then the ride is going to be HARSH!! w/ adj. dampers, u can dial in the amount of stiffness you want so the ride isn't annoyingly harsh. |

Can anyone tell me the part number for SVT Springs? My dealer could only find a listing for Front SVT springs. Does anyone have any information/price on SVT dampers.

Does anyone know if the Eibach Pro kit for the wagon uses a different spring rate and/or different dampening than the Pro kit for the ZX3/ZX5?

Does anybody know the spring codes for the stock springs, particularly for an SVT? I keep hearing that my car rides higher than normal in the rear. The rear springs are code GAR, so I'm trying to see whether those are stock or got swapped in from something else.
Ford PN 3S4Z-5560-GA, Spring code: GAR If you have stock springs the code tags are easily seen on the springs from the rear of the car (underneath, of course). I'd be interested in what other people have. |

the reason teh Gaz c/o arn't on there yet is b/c you can order the Gaz with any spring rate you want.
anywher from 250-500# direct through Gaz or BAT OR you can order springs that are the same diameter from Ground Control and get springs that are well over 500#s. there is no set generic spring rate that comes with them other then the stock 250# ones, but you can order anyhting you want. |

wow I did not realize that the dropzones were that stiff.... they sure don't feel like it. Maybe I just badly need dampers? ;-) |

That's SOFT!!! On my H&R Race Springs, it takes about that weight to just compress them 1 INCH!!!! ![]() J/K Spring rates are usually given in pounds per inch of compression, not pound/feet of torque. ![]() |

They are stiffer, but not really all that stiff in comparison to an aftermarket damper. I wouldn't use them with anything other than ZX3 springs. |
