No one ever found H&R Cup Kit rates? I've tried to look and came up with nothing...
Anyone wanna trade H&R Race Springs for Cup Kit springs!? ;-)

H&R race springs will destroy cup kit dampers...
the cup kit is an H&R secret, they won't tell anyone.

Ford lists 2 different stock front springs for ZX3/sedan/etc. (non-SVT)
One for automatic and one for manual. Seems to make sense, I estimate the automatic would increase weight on the front about 5% so I assume the automatic spring is slighlty higher spring rate. Maybe some ford parts expert knows the answer. Anyone know the Ford Spring Codes for Focus? |

Link doesn't work on the front page for spring rates. Here are some from that site, not sure which one it is.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but how hard would it be to find out by testing the springs? Has nobody done this or is it just not possible to accurately simulate the factory testing? |

I'm sure it could be done at any specialty racing shop that has the equipment. it's just a matter of someone actually wanting to go and do it and paying for it.

Great thread but has anyone been able to find out the answer to this question on the 2.0" version of the apex springs. I ask because I believe I have them, and just want to know if it's stiffer than the H&R race springs. |
