H&R Coilovers:
F: 370~460 lb/in
R: 260 lb/in

H&R Race: 2”/1.7”
F: 325 lb/in
R: 375 lb/in

these are the rates circa 2003, have they updated them or is the H&R tech guesstimating?

So, I was just looking at the current list of spring rates, and it appears that there isn't a figure for the FRPP springs.

Anybody know the spring rate on those springs? Since FORDSVTPARTS just released the FRPP spring/dampers for 06-07 Focus at a retarded low price I'm considering buying them but would like to know the specifics on them before I do. (I'm assuming the spring rate on the 06-07 springs will be virtually identical to the spring rate of the 00-05 springs)

there is no set generic spring rate that comes with them other then the stock 250# ones, but you can order anything you want.

Wouldn't it be beneficial to add the above information to the first post? I mean why not put it there since it is spring rate information? Plus the ad at (link) BAT mentions additional 2.5 inch springs are available which look to be only for the front and does not list the rear rates. BTW isn't the above statement true for all coil overs? (you can add any spring?)

I've done a lot of searching on a couple of forums and cannot find the spring rates for the H&R sport springs. Does anyone know?
I'm thinking of going with steeda springs but would like something with a similar 1.5" drop and a little stiffer.

You could always put in a call to H&R.

I know they are going to be progressive.

I ask because I believe I have them, and just want to know if it's stiffer than the H&R race springs.

It's my understanding that they use the same rates as the 1.5" drop springs.

anyone make springs that are linear and are 50 percent stiffer...

so if its 110lbs stock to go to 165lbs/in front
and 117lbs/in stock to go to 175.5lbs/in back

Will the Intrax SVT springs work on a ZX3? I don't see why they wouldn't.

Does ground control sell certain spring rate now? When i did my coil over kit it was with my choosing of eibach race springs. Although I think I don't need the stiffness I have 550 front 600 rear for me.

Just an FYI....
I called ground control the other day to talk to them about a custom rear setup, and they no longer produce any suspension parts for the Focus. Kinda bummed me out, but such is life.

Unknown rate. I believe it's a "secret" according to H&R.
