Anyone know how the ingalls adjustable strut mounts are? Do they have the same design problems/durability as the spc's?

they appear to be the exact same thing just black.
so i'd predict that they perform in the same fashion as the SPC/Progress/or whoever else makes them like that.

Umm well.. lol .. camber has no effect on castor unless you had like 20 degrees of camber or more, maybe, but seriously... just think about. trust me i work on racecars everday. Here is a basic rule for starters, a change in castor is a change in the forward or reward tilt of the knuckle, NOT the inward or outward tilt of the knuckle. |

sorry but while your correct in how the adjustment technically works in a perfect world....
when using some camber plates on the focus, you're simultaneously adjusting caster with your camber because of how you position the camber plate. the you don't just slide it in and out, some of them you have to rotate to get your desired camber setting and in doing so, you've angled your strut forward or backward of the center line. so your adjusting camber and caster at teh same time so what MichaelXi said is correct, unless at full neg or full pos, your increasing or decreasing your caster as well

hey, sorry I didn't want to rummage through all the million threads/posts. but I have a question that was probably already answered:
I have an '00 stock height focus zx3, and I want to throw the front camber kits on it (leaving it stock). is it really worthless to do that? or what? because I've noticed that it's already kind of a top heavy car, so I don't know if it would be worth the $120. and I don't want to drop it either (resale soon). your thoughts? nate. |

I just purchased the LCR race plates and the SPC adjustable rear upper camber arms. Any suggestions on additional bits? I will be back to the States in 47 days so I am ordering what I need.
