Default svt springs on an 06 focus?

I have a 2006 focus ST and I ordered a set of 2004 SVT springs. I have already installed the rear springs, but the front ones don't look like they'll fit. The bottom part of the ST springs is smaller in diameter than the top. The SVT springs are the same diameter from top to bottom. What gives?

Welcome to [FJ] and your new Focus; apparently, Ford has made some running suspension changes that we're just now discovering. If you can be patient, I'm sure the aftermarket will catch up very quickly.

Thanks for the reply. If I'd had a little more time to research, I'm sure I would have found the links you posted. I quess I'll have to wait like everybody else for the fronts.

Maybe try the SVT struts as well.
The SVT set-up worked on my '05, but I replaced springs and dampers.

The dampers may not help either. Apparently, Ford also changed the knuckles for '06 since they have a different part #. Has anyone actually tried the complete SVT swap on an '06?
