Default Spring isolator?

I would like to get intrax springs on my zts because of the spring rates. However, I only want a max drop of 1.5 inches. I was wondering if anyone makes a spring isolator like what's on my 03 cobra. It basically acts as a spring seat.
See here for an example

It would increase the ride height so the drop won't be so drastic. I know it's only .5 inches difference between what I want and the intrax svt drop, but I don't want to go that low.

lol better to double up...forgot to update this forum with the link to cfm for the focus rear spring isolator.

DisrupTer911, CFM Has the same thing...mentioned it in the other forum. However, it doesn't seem to help increase ride height... thanks for trying though

a rear spring isolator isn't meant to change ride height.

According to that maximum motorsports description of those Mustang spring isolators, the only reason ride height changes is b/c the factory rubber isolator has compressed from teh weight of the vehicle. and the poly-U isolator will resist being compressed more then the rubber would.

right i get that but i'm thinking why couldn't a thicker one be used to raise the ride height say 1/2 an inch?

I'm just thinking out loud here and erring on the side of extreme caution, but, on the Focus anyway, the rear coil spring isolator that sits on top of the coil spring has to contain some "shear" as the rear suspension's lower control arm falls away in an arc. As it is, the portion of the rear subframe acting as the spring perch is not very deep... Perhaps no one wants the liability.

You could get an opinion from a suspension and wheel alignment shop about having an (two) aluminum doughnut(s) made to install between the subframe's perch and the existing isolator for that ride height increase you're looking for, or you might consider something a hair higher and simply go with the SVT Suspension Kit.

IF you installed such a thing, it'd need to be at the top. The upper cup is flush with no detent for the end of the coil, and as such would be the wiser location for a thicker isolator.
