Default New springs

When installing new springs, how can I tell which end of the new spring is the top and which end is the bottom? I dont want to install them upside down. Also installing new shocks and dampers. But those are easier to figure out. Thanks!

I'm not sure what brand suspension you have, but I installed mine yesterday, and I just made sure the lettering on them was up.

It's the full ST SportTech kit...shocks, dampers and the whole nine. My springs don't have much in the way of letters, though. I just checked them. I can't put them on until later in the month anyway. Gotta drive to CO on Saturday.
