Quick question on FS rear stress bar installation!!!
I'm installing my FocusSport rear stress bar and I'm not trusting the way it bolts on. There's no lock washers or bolts with plastic in them to keep the bolts tight. I keep thinking that the bolts will come loose after a while. Is there anybody that has had this installed for a while that can straighten this out for me? I feel like I should throw on some lock washers. Thanks.

If there is enough thread there its not a bad idea to throw a washer and a lock washer on.

Do u have the FocusSport rear stress bar on your car? If u do, how long have u had it on and has it ever gotten loose?

I've had mine on for about 2yr's and never had a problem with.

Mine's been on close to three yrs ... no problem with the bolts loosening.

Thanks for the help! I installed it with the washers that came with the bar. The installation went smooth except for the drilling. It took a while to drill through the metal! And I was using a cheap drill! The battery died out about 5 times. But besides that, the rest went great! No problems! Thanks guys!
