No rear sway bar! Can I please have one? - The Ford Focus Forum

My brother has an 05 that didnt come with a rear sway bar, and I was gonna give him my old one, but since I dont see him very often I havent been able to check if his subframe has the mounts for a rear sway bar.

So my question. Does an 05 ZX3 that did not come with a rear sway bar, still have the mounts on the subframe to mount a sway bar to it?

Nope, you need the brackets too. I believe biscuitninja used to make them and Steeda now does.

Just get them from Steeda the kit is like $40.

IIRC, Steeda makes a kit and so does Eibach, although the Steeda kit may well be the Eibach kit repackaged.

I think Steeda makes there own. The kit they have works really well. I used it on my 06

I made my OWN! WOO! Still have a set floating in the garage though......

maybe i'll put it on my next Focus...
