Default SVT Floormats

Does any one know if there will be embroidered mats or anything "special"
like that available?

Bump! I'm kind of curious about this too!

Also, is there going to be a number plate or anything in the interior that says "This is Model Year 2002 SVT Focus #1234 of 7500" or whatever?

I don't think SVT numbers any other vehicles, but I could be wrong on that. Last I knew, Saleen is about the only people that give you an idea of what number your cars was in the build order.

SVT's are numbered, if u go to any SVT Dealer u should see a poster that explains SVT and will show that u get a certificate once the production run of the car is over with the number ur car was in the production run.

Also the VIN number on the car should have a way of telling u which car urs is in the production run. I'm looking forward to see if i get 1 of 7500

I sat in one today and there was no SVT/Focus logo on the floormats...is this typical for those who have them?

There is no logo on the floormats. I really like my car but if I was gonna nitpick, I'd say the floormats are pretty lame compared to the rest of the car! --dave

Floor matts are indeed a bit lame. They seem to be dust magnets as well. Any dust or foreign material sticks like glue and shows up big time. Plan on spending lots of time with a vacume to keep the cockpit looking clean.

After looking at a zillon floor mats, not happy with anything out there, I ran across these at a local O'Reilly Auto Parts Store, part number RC-3702: (A picture from another site)

With very little trimming near the top, they are a perfect fit in color & form! I really like the rubber heal rest too. About $25. Front only. Good luck finding where to buy them. Cheers, Roll-Splat.

If I was looking to the floor I was looking at the racy pedal covers but the floor mats look to be the same ones that were in my last ZX3. Nothing special. If that is the biggest complaint I can come up with after driving my SVT for 5 days thats ok with me.

I am somewhat dissapointed. My old 92 Probe and 98 Mustang both had floormats that at least had the name of the car stitched in them and just gave a nice little touch. Of course with the SVT doorsill plate, I guess it would be a little redundant to have it on the floormat too.

Redundant Schmundant

Badge this baby EVERYWHERE...
SVT Floormats..
SVT Sewn into the seats..
SVT sown into the headliner..
SVT molded into the dash..
SVT Headlights (Like the bat signal)..

hehe ok J/K but it was fun for a sec..

I did like the idea of SVT floormats though. Oh Well

FWIW, SVT Contours have the SVT logo embroidered on the front floor mats, parallel to the sill plate.

Given that the SVT Focus has the SVT logo on stainless sill plates, it wouldn't surprise me to find the floor mats didn't have the logo.

try your parts department at your SVT dealer. That's where I got my Cobra embiordered mats at. Or you can try www.fordcollection.com

might take alittle time since the SVT is pretty new, but they'll be out

I'm looking for some quality Floor Mats... my Probe GT has very nice carpeted mats with the word Probe embroidered on it. The mats in the SVT are utter junk to be honest. I mean it's like laying down a paper towel... That part is a little dissappointing. I will definately be buying new mats, to keep the carpet as clean as possible.

[EDIT... I take the "utter junk" part back]

I actually picked up the mats in the SVT, and they have pretty decent support. Still not at all plush, but at least it looks as if they will last longer than I originally thought
