Is there a torsen limited slip available for the Getrag?

My only planned "mods" are a set of snow wheels/tires next fall

I'm thinking about a carbon hood with a scoop, custom intake, and that new JRSC. That should bring HP at the wheels to well over 200.

Oh yeah, and an LSD to make it all useful...

No Torsen yet, he must be assuming their will be one at some time.

For me.. I'll be:
Carbon Fiber Hood (no scoops)
Exhaust w/ Larger Diameter Piping
Swapping Rear Bumper / Modifying front Bumper
Forced Induction of some kind(hopefully we'll have some decent choices)
LSD (if available)
Pectel ECU

I wouldn't count on the "Well Over" thing.. I believe the SVT with the JRSC will only dyno at about 198-205 WHP. So don't expect to much.

On the way home from the dealer: window tint
bit later: CAI & UDP
After that it depends on what decent stuff the market offers. I'm skeptical that suspension, chips or exhaust parts will make a big difference for my use.

The 200-205 is just with the JRSC, add in a custom intake and a hood scoop dumping right into that? I figure that's good for at least another 5 HP or so, so no we're talking up to 210. I didn't mean like 280 or anything but solidly over 200, which 210 covers for me

I want an Intake, which is better a Cold Air, a ram air, a short thing. . . I'm lost.

Down the road I'll SC and LSD it. Galpin is doing my tint off the truck.

I'd be interested in a hood with a small useful scoop, but no one seems to make one yet. Maybe one like that on the WRC car. . .

Any word on intercoolers?

In no particular order

- CAI
- LSD (if available)
- A'PEX Speed/Rev monitor with G sensor (hey, I'm a techie geek...)
- eventually some type of FI. Probably the JRSC, but would really like some way to up the boost and add an intercooler. Otherwise, I'll drop the compression and turbo it.
-Would like to drop it 1", but only if it did not adversely affect handling. Hopefully help it.
- chip
- and of course, must have the Beltronics 980

I was lookin @ the exhaust and you've got
Header, Cat, Resinator, Muffler, and another Baffel.

Some thing gota go, Header, Cat, and Muffler.
Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS)
I would like to Take the last baffel out, and maybe the resinator. Short of sounding like a Rickey Racer or Kazoo can one or both be removed, I'm one of the people who like to hear the engine NOT BLAAAAAAA ,BLAAAAAAA
Some one have input for my new SVT?
The Header sound great, the real sound gets choked up there after.

Hey guys to those of you that have the cars congrats. I,m waiting on my black svt, i see that some of you guys are planning on doing superchargers or turbo's. honestly i got this infor on the net, i will be going with JRSC, its easier to maintain, and will give you some nice power. Turbos are nice but man if something goes, well it becomes miserable.
check this out
Jackson Racing solidified its prominence by winning the coveted "Best Street Performance Product" award for its Focus supercharger system over all other new products at the show. Recognized for its ability to increase torque and horsepower by 45-percent, its ease of installation, and the quality and durability of its components, the Jackson Racing supercharger system is considered the ultimate performance upgrade for Ford's 2.OL Zetec engine. For an encore in 2002 Jackson Racing has developed a supercharger system for the much-anticipated SVT Focus, sending the power curve into orbit with max power numbers of 231 hp and 178 lb.-ft. of tire-burning torque.

The cornerstone of JR's supercharger system is a 62 cubic inch Eaton positive displacement supercharger set up to produce 6psi of boost. Unlike traditional modifications, the supercharged 2.OL Zetec produces 90-percent of peak torque from 3000-7000rpm resulting in no lag, and excellent driveability. With a unique bypass system that takes the supercharger "off-line" when not required, the Jackson Racing supercharging system is not only powerful, but highly efficient as well. All JR supercharger systems are 50-state emissions legal. Like the base Zetec JR supercharger system, the SVT model will be available through the Ford Racing parts program at Ford dealers in the near future.

The SVT has a 2.38" exhast on it already, going to a 2.5 would do you little or no good, even with a supercharger. You might gain 1/2 a horse with a strait muffler. A test pipe for the CAT would yield a bit of power as well.

If you are going to run a supercharger, you wouldn't want to run a UDP since you will be under-driving your blower, and thus slowing your car down. This could be corrected with a larger pulley on the supercharger however.

As for the suspension, it is already 1" lower than the stock Focus, and messing with the balence that SVT put in the suspension I think is a bad idea. You will most likely mess up the handling of the car.

I also am very intreasted to see what superchip and diablo come out with in the lines of chips. With the intake VTT, I'm not sure how usefull it would be.

Hey guys...i just had a quick question...i always thought that because a supercharger is belt-driven, wouldn't it be kindof dumb to get pulleys? I mean, wouldn't that take away from the superchargers power? or am i just way off? please let me know.

ZX3 Rally , I think the jackson racing supercharger will come as a kit ? pulleys brackets intake and so ,
Also a larger supercharger pulley will not give you more boost!, A smaller pulley will so long you dont get belt slippage.

I'm not sure now if I'm going to get the supercharger. I'm going to wait and see how it drives first, and then go from there. I didn't know the svt was lowered 1", I've heard that they kept the height the same for crash testing reasons.
