new EVO Magazine Focus ST170 features - The Ford Focus Forum

Latest EVO Mag has two articles featuring ST170 Focus. Main article is a show down to find the best value under 30,000 UK pounds. ST170 beat out cars like S2000, Alfa GTA, Audi S3 Quattro, Caterham SV BMW 325i compact, etc. In the end it was a run off with Lotus Elise, Impreza STi, EVO VII Sprint, and Mini Cooper S. Pretty good company I would say. 0-60 time of ST170 was a terrible 8.2 Seconds with Mini at 7.7. Seemed very slow for both cars. In the end Mini was picked unfortunately. I assume TC is standard on all Euro ST170's which seems to slow off line performance a bit. Still a good read. Also used ST170 as a test mule for a big performance tire test and found the stock Conti to be second best after Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. Sorry I can't scan it for you guys.
