Default SCT Tune help

Just flashed a tune into the car with an Xcal1. The tune is my old SVTF Tune from Hypnotic ( RLA6 ), though I cannot remember if this particular tune was adujsted for my mods at the time. Right now the car is stock aside from a drop in filter.

The car has been running like the tune is working ( know from prior experience ) but my wife just tells me the car is flashing a trouble code.

Local auto parts store ran the code and it's saying "System too sensitive - Bank 1".

The guy tells her the fuel sensors ( ?? ) are acting up and it needs better gas or new sensors.

Sounds to me like a tune issue.....

Any thoughts?

Thanks!!!

It could be your pre cat Oxygen sensor, if you have the OBD number , that will tell you exactly witch sensor and the problem, with in reason. My wifes stock ZX3 threw an Oxygen sensor code, turned out one of the wires on the sensor had worn the shield off, few raps of electrical tape and good as new. I would Flash back to stock and clear the code and see if it comes back for a week, if no then the tune, if Yes then you have a problem non-tune related. If it is the tune, you should be able to use SCT's Extreme tune (if you have the file from Wayne and you can't pull them off the Xcal) and edit the Idle, Part throttle and Full throttle fuel as well and timing and some other stuff. I have the exact same mods you do and had to pull timing and add fuel to the Hypnotic tune to keep it from pinging above 4K, still working that out flash by flash.......all with 92 Octane. Good Luck

Makes a lot of sense Dano, thanks for responding.

The tune that I'm using was made for my last car, which was modded, this new one really isn't which makes me think that's the reason.

I pulled the code and it's P0172 - too rich, Bank 1....

Sorry for the delay, if the tune was for a modded car, then it likely will have more fuel fo rmake up for the mods. I'd seggest a new tune for the mods your car has now.
