Question costum intake ideas

i want to make my my own custom intake set up.i had the aem cai,but after the roads flodded ,i replaced it with the std ram air for the svt.i want the filter to sit far enough away from the engine as possible without the risk of of hydrolocking.i could possibly come up with something on my own, but if you guys have any ideas please let me know

better off getting the focus sport cool-flo intake. oh and you should get the ORP, its not like you get smog tested everyday. just put the catalytic converter on when you actually do need to get tested.

Cosmo racing std ZX3 intake chopped 3" in the midsection and an inch at the end.

pulling hot air from the top of the engine compartment right next to the header? dunno about that setup man.
For the valve cover breather, put a mini air cleaner on that hose, you can do the same for the bung on the intake pipe or just cap it with a 3/8" bolt.

Works better than the stock setup. I am making a heat shield for it anyways.
