This is a DSI lever (aka, IMRC lever):

It is not a "DSI clip"!!!

a lil anal about people calling it a clip and not a lever?

but a lever is a rigid object that is used with an appropriate fulcrum or pivot point to multiply the mechanical force that can be applied to another

If you want to get technical, it is a clip, as it "clips" to the DSI lever. Read the stuff you posted a little closer, and you will see what I mean.

The clip is the plastic piece attached to the actuator cable. It CLIPS onto the LEVER. This is the LEVER:

It's a lever, The stud breaks off the lever and the clip has nothing to hook on to.

The clip is on the end of the cable and I've never seen that part break.

I don't know where the term "DSI clip" ever came from but it's wrong.
