in my opinion i don't think the rear flows well with the rest..may be just the angle of the official pic but from here it looks kinda

I wish I worked for them. I could make a few small tweaks to that design and it would really help.

The fender arches just look like something from Walmart... and the wheels just scream cheap too.

I think it has potential, but as usual with everything from Nissan, the essense is lost in the details.

YEs, it does look like a Saturn ION. Also, it definitely shows Nissan's Renault/French influence!

It's not as good looking as before, but I bet it will sell to Maxima fans.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">i think the G 35 looks awesome!!
but its all a matter of taste anyway..
the maxima was never a good looking car.. the new model at least has some innovations going on.. with that wierd ass butt
anyway people back in the days complained about the new edge ford look with the focus and the cougar... but it paid off.. at least for me.. since when it first came out I thought that style would look old very quikly, and now well.. it does look good

Everyone says it looks too much like the Altima. But if you look back through the years the Altima has basically become a mini Maxima. So you could look at that either way.

I think Nissan must be hiring all the designers that Bob Lutz has kicked out of Pontiac!

It looks like an Altima becasue it is the same platform with different styling.

Still, the Max has its cult following. The old one sold fine even with a bigger Altima in 2002, I think Nissan fans will still buy it.

Bigtime ugly. It is like a really overweight woman - curves in all the wrong places.
