Default Zoop's Wild Wicked Wheelstand from NMRA Florida

Zoop's Wild Wicked Wheelstand from NMRA Florida

To everyone who has been asking for a video of Zoop Zellonis's absolutely crazy bumper-dragging wheelstand from the NMRA Nitto Tire Spring Ford Nationals in Bradenton Last Weekend -- here ya' go on NMRA TV.

http://www.nmraracing.com/bradenton0...aTv.php?file=8

All four tires of the car actually left the ground and Zoop showed incredible driving!

You'd think he would have gotten out of the throttle as the body angle approached 45 degrees.

That's the first time I've seen a drag racer with enough wheel skill to prevent a spin. I bet that was a nice adrenaline rush.

If you drop the throttle, you destroy half of the car. It is a much better idea to try to ride it out.

Because the car is going to come down HARD (which it ended up doing on this pass, anyway, but only because it ended up on the bumper) where as if you stay in it and ride it out you'll ease down.
