The tailgate can be made from the bottom half of the wagon hatch... or did someone mention that already?
I don't know if I like it or not. Perhaps if it were a cut-down windscreen roadster pickup with chassis/roll tubing everywhere. ![]() :coRnfused: To utilize that bed to it's potential, I'd think the rear spring rates would have to be supplemented with bags.

i'm still skeptical...
couple things i noticed, by no means all just quick looks at some detail ![]() ![]() another thing, its got wagon lights, but only 2 doors? some of the reflection levels don't match up either in the 2nd pic on original post, the shadow on the stuff in back is crisp whereas the rest of the car is not? i mean if it IS a 'chop, its a very good one

Yea I though the first picture with the bushes looked chopped until I saw the second pic, but I have never really seen anyone take multiple pictures of a car in 1 positions to photochop them to look like matching photos, although I would not be surprised is someone did.
Anyway it is a cool concept, maybe you will give ford an idea for a new body style of the focus in Australia. I mean they ONLY have a coupe/hard top convertible, sedan, 3 door, 5 door, and minivan version of the focus so far, why not add a pick up version. At this rate ford may actually be able to spin the “focus” off as a sub-brand like people said they should have in the states years ago

aright well that would ONLY be cool if it rocked a bodykit, some serious sound, and a big engine. A BIG LOUD V8....
without the engine, it is worse than a person cutting off a roof on their k car for a convertible. -chris |
