Havent been on the forums for what seems like forever, so this is my first peek at this. I have to say, thank god I got a 2006, lol! I really dont like the design of it what so ever. I do like the interior and guage cluster. That is pretty sleek. I kinda wish mine had that as my interior is so bland. Besides that I dont like it.

As far as the overall style, I dont like it. But the '08 has a lot of nice details. I havent thought about it too much, but seems like those ideas could be borrowed as mods

Just saw it yesterday at the Philly Auto Show... it looks absolutely terrible in person. The lady got up on the platform to showcase it and was talking for about 10 minutes, nobody even stopped to take a picture of the car, nobody was looking at it. Its was sad, really.

Seems to be the consensus among those of us that have seen it. Hopefully they can make some significant modifications before it hit showrooms.

I like the interior. The tail light look almost too small for the car. The sidevents on the fenders look unfinished. The first varsion of the focus still looks the best to me. Wish the euro version was released in the US.

I like the new 2008 Focus. Sure the Original looks great and is hard to beat but if the new one handles as good or better then the Original Focus and has good Performance I will give it a good look and test drive and consider getting one later this year or next. I want to see the Coupe in Red, Black, Yellow, and Midnight Blue. If I do get one it will be a Stick this time, no Auto Granny Tranny for me. I have to have a Stick before I get old or die, whatever comes first.

They had the new Focus at the Baltimore Auto Show, I was really disappointed I think it looks worse in person. Too bad for Ford I’ll be looking at getting a new car in the next 12 month and the focus is not on my list.

not on 2003 cars, ALL foci sold in this market had the 2.3l PZEV focus, the motor that is currentally in the ST,a nd will no longer be available.

when the marketed the "all new" 2.0l 05 focus as haveing "more" power it was a joke in this market because it had LESS power than the previous years focus since the 2.3 was previously standard even on an lx sedan.

I say give the rest of the US this focus as a 45 state legal car so it can't be sold here, and then import the euro hatchback with cali immisions

I really dont want to have to look at this thing 1 a week.

yes it was more powerful compared to previous years cars, as in the 2002 models, but it was not more powerful that the PREVIOUS YEAR car
