I am still wondering at this point, who gave the final thumbs up on the whole enchilada, and was it because it was too late to change anything, or was it because there were people in the company that said, "Wow...that is actually a really good looking car."

To better phrase, was the approval just Ford settling on what they had, or do they really feel that they have built a beautiful and perfect car?

I also heard somewhere they were doing some tweaking on the car before it went to production? I can only hope a new front bumper is in the works, someone got stuck on "rectangle" in Photoshop when they designed it.

I wouldn't get my hopes up about any serious changes to the car...any sheetmetal changes are locked in place. But then again the only thing that needs tweeking (IMO) is the headlights, grill and bumper...and they are plastic.

I can deal with the hood, just the shape of the lights in the lower area (looks like a 90's Escort/Saturn Ion), the grill and the way the bumper is shaped, its horrible.
