well honestally i stopped caring at this point. I saw the thing at the NYIAS and ford did have allot of people looking at there cars. The focus was not one of the cars people looked at. even though it was a preproduction car sitting on the floor, almost noone even gave it a second look. A far cry from the attention a volvo C30 was getting (which was a straight Espec car, complete with km/h only speedo.) The screwed up this "refresh" and it is too late to do anything about it. It will be sold again with rebates, and sorry to say to them it was probabally a waist of money for ford.

my focus has about 90,000 miles on it at this point (for an 02, and i drive my motorcycle as much as possable which now has 8,000 miles in 8 months) so yea in the next 2 years i am sure i will need a new car. Ford has nothing i want, so i will just shop elsewhere. As simple as that.

Anyway i am looking foward to the saturn astra, I like the a3, and ford has one car that i am vagley intereated in, the mazda 3 now that stability control is an option. I may also consider a nissan frontier (keep in mind any "car" i get is a second vehicle, my bike is my daily driver) but that is only if they have stability control, side airbags, and MANUAL as an option. (you can get the xterra this way allready)

my 02 focus i just hopes holds out till I am done with school so i can go get another car.

if mexico can get the new euro focus, why can't we?? Our focus is built in mexico.......what's up with that. The country our focus is made doesn't even have to drive it. not fair

I believe the NA Focus is only built in the US now. Where the Focus was made in Mexico is now making the Fusion Triplets.

Thanks Cruz. As long as Ford adresses the blocky bumpers. Too bad HID's and LED's wont be used on the head lamps. That design could use it.

Still gonna be hard to say no though.

Im gonna have to say I doubt it on that one. But I hope Im wrong. Unless Ford makes a true sport variant, I cant see them putting more $$ into the up coming C2 just to sale it to Joe and Jane Public. They will make them as cost efficient as possible. Too bad that often translates into a lack of style.

^no i mean like the Scion catalog has option for LEDs and such. I can see Ford doing something along the same lines, they already have upped their catalog with the trucks and all. You can basically a Lighting beater right out of the pages.
