I remember reading about the Festiva making a reappearance over here based on the Mazda 2. It's like 20 years ago all over again, lol.

That doesn't sound too family friendly. ![]() Reminds me of a joke I heard on the radio. If you ever had to take your Ford Escort to the shop for maintenace, and decide to pay with a check, don't write in the memo section "Escort Service". You'll have a long time explaining that one to the wife. |

Boards are still alive and kicken (car was more a mazda platform towords the end).. BUt um the Escort name was the number 1 selling car in the world till it was beat out in 1998 by the f-150.

I'm glad Ford is renaming that ugly ass car an escort. Will help clean up the focus name from all the NA bastardizing. Now lets see if they follow through in 2010.

You should start by proof reading your posts. Would have been a smart move on Ford's part to rename that POS an escort.

Oooooh...that was a really rough burn. Next time I'll post I'll make sure I take it back to my old college Professors to get their stamp of approval on format, spelling, grammar and efficient usage of sarcasm and wit. At any rate...anyone who did or still believes that the Car and Driver article was for real is pretty thick in my book. ![]()

No, Ron, no it wouldn't. You're stupid for assuming that. BTW: You must have some pretty big connections, given you were able to contact Ford PR on a Sunday at 8:30pm. Some people...
