^ Well that would be nice if Ford does that too. It would help allot of foci buyers personalize thier cars (to some degree) and still have a warranty. If Ford has the stones to offer engine and transmission mods in that fasion then that would be killer. Hell it would give SVT somthing to do.

Well I do think the C2 will be nice as heck. If Ford goes above and beyond simply making the cars remains to be seen.

Well; seeing that NY state gets the PZEV, what sort of FI options are available with the D20E. Everybody and they momma is tuning the D23. I havent found much love for the tree hugger engine.

All turbo applications will require that. The only way to run a cat is to add an aftermarket one downstream.

...well, unless you run some wacky remote-mounted turbo, but I can't see wanting to do that.

The first two years of 2.3L (D23E), all of them were equally tree-hugger to the D20E, so I don't see the PZEV status as a big barrier.

I'm thinking Ford will follow the "Way Forward" trend, by actually going backward...I assume the 2011 Focus will follow this as a design theme...
