I'd drive it. But they said something like $14,000 GBP...isn't that almost $28,000 USD? Hopefully FNA will bring it over, and with SVTF like prices.

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times: you cannot compare England car prices to America's using a typical conversion system. They have a ton more taxes and fees and whatnot than we do so it isn't a fair comparison in the least

And yes, I can tell you in my short instance of getting to drive a Fiesta ST that they're phenomenal cars

Yes I know. But somebody over on that side of the pond paid about $28,000 USD for that car. I hope I am not implying that is what it would cost in the US.

Look up the prices of other various European cars and you'll see that my point of the prices being totally different than American counterparts holds up. 14K GBP isn't like $28K in the car world, so even a rough comparison of saying "I hope it's not that much here" is gonna mislead people.

usualy multiply the UK price in pound by 1.15-1.2 and you get the us price in dollars.

The fiesta was almost as fast as Focus RS on a Track thats Amazing.

And the RS shared the time with some variant of porsche...I believe carrera S but can't remember.

Oh, and 2focusd, your quote was also incorrect. I said "Hopefully FNA will bring it over, and with SVTF like prices."

One thing to remember with uk prices is they can tend to be a bit higher than the rest of euro land. Also the cars are typically a higher spec than what you would get this side of the pond, 2 years of leasing a focus over here was enough to enforce that stereotype .

It's a shame as Ford have the ability to make the same car over here but for some reason if its not a truck then they can't be bothered, still its not all perfect back home when it comes to fast fords they can't be bothered either.
