Including maintence, tires, and the purchase of the car, it is probably somewhere around $30k. I'd rather not add it up... somewhere around 12 sets of tires.

2006 was the dumbest.... I kind of regret that. This year I'm only going to buy what is needed to finish what I started last year and stick to that.

I added it up once.

Considering I've replaced the suspension twice, engine twice, bought enough spares and replace parts to rebuild a whole car,

not to mention having built up a NA build, then to go forced.... then all the tires I've shredded....

Yah... I'm over $10K.

In the ol' RBR car? I would be afraid to add it up. It seemed that it got MORE expensive the more I took things out!

I would say somewhere around 25K or so in stuff, including the paint in worth.

Yes...exactly.

I 'made a small bit of money' when I sold mine, but only because she was 2 months away from being paid off. But in reality...I lost money due to all that I had done to it.

Sadly, you 'rarely' get out of a car what you put into it, but that's just the fun of the hobby!

I'd love to have something that corners as well as my ZX3 did...I really miss it!!

this is only the beginning, prob. about 10-12k when im done. so sad

, but cant stop. besides the total car cost w/ intreest will be ~21k plus mods, now i feel sick.

spent alot, took stuff off, put other stuff on, fixed some other stuff, got stuff i never used.. umm alot. and the thing still isnt worth much at all. good thing i didnt pay much for the car.

i already spent like 1600 on my new car that i've had for 4 months

there goes 3-4 payments

Focus, not much just
SVT suspension, I don't count the SVT brakes because they were just as much as the regular brakes (front only), and then the sway bar set up (which has LONG ago paid for itself) and then a air filter...
So only about 1000 for suspension and brakes and then the stereo was um... a little more.... = 1200
So about 2200 so far.

Mustang = about 55-57k or there abouts...

Im in the 1.8k-2k range already & I bought the car in Feb last year. When I get done with my intake im not putting anything else fancy on it (unless the price is right ie APC tails for $35 shipped). I think my wife telling me to stop putting money in the car & take a vacation is taking its toll.....
