It wasn't a public tour. A few of us were invited by Ford to kick off the new car.

Speaking of the event, any thoughts on the duration or other events? I'm sure some may be interested in it spilling over a day and heading to sites like the Ford Museum or Greenwich Village (if it's open by then). There was also a good gokart track SVT took us back in 2004 that was good fun as well.

I will contact them again when I get back from SEMA.

Due to the recent death that happened at the plant I decided not to bug them for a few weeks.

Oh, side note: In one of the threads in Great Lakes, they brought up Kart 2 Kart, a gokarting venue. Not sure if there would be any interest in heading there after or integrating it somehow with the tour?

I wook at the Chicago assemby plant and we are usually on vacation the 1st two weeks of July, I wonder if the MI plant is on vacation the same time, that might be a good time to have this tour.

Sorry for the lack of updates. The project kind of lost momentum after the unfortunate death of the worker there. I will re-establish with them.
