I was at my local Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda dealer and saw an odd car to me.
I was a 2007 Ford Fusion Roush. It had a spoiler, tinted windows, Roush across the windshield, Roush badges, and a set of custom rims w/ Roush center caps. I was wondering if it was a legit Roush or just a Fusion they stuck some wheels and badges on. It has no interior goodies, or GO goodies just what is listed I will try and get some pics next time I am up there. I also checked Roush's website no Fusion..........hmmmm............maybe it has just been badged. Shame on them!!!! http://www.roushperformance.com/vehicles.shtml

There is a Roush package for the Fusion. It was recently released. I believe it's just an appearance package.

It looked nice and all but it was a little over $5k more than the original sticker price. It was a SEL AWD with all the options and the Roush package made it about $31k or $32K a little steep for what it had done to it.

I still want a SHO Fusion, 260-270whp would be nice. BUT if they were to just put good suspension on the car along with a standard it would make it one very FUN car.

Jesus that's alot dough. You can get a Nissan Altima 3.5 for that 5k less and imo, pretty much spank the Fusion in comfort and performance.

That is the same Roush Fusion that runs in NASCAR, correct? j/k
My dad has had 2 of them on the lot, the first one sold fairly quickly, and the other one is still for sale. They look good, but the stripe down the side looks terrible. Neither of the cars the dealership had have the spoiler.

The Roush Fusion package is only a $1900 option. That dealer is ripping people off.

Pics?
I've loved the Fusions. There are just little tweaks I would have done if I'd owned one. But I won't ever own one, soo

Yeah those are the wheels. And this Fusion did not have a stripe on the side. Just a Black Fusion w/ spoiler, wheels, tint, and badges. For the price they wanted it should of had some Go-Go goodies!!

I emailed Roush yesterday and this is the answer they gave me:
"It is most likely the Sport package that we build for ford. Not a roush vehicle but some Roush/frpp parts. Those cars are built by us though. Thanks, Roush Performance Products Sales and Customer Service 28156 Plymouth Rd Livonia, MI 48150 Phone: 800-59-ROUSH www.roushperf.com"

When I bought my focus, jan or feb 06, I saw one or two silver/grey Roush focus cars sitting there as well. Was this only an appearance packing with no performance upgrades? I didn't look them seriously because they were way too "out there" for me.
